OSRS Bot Client 2026 | Native C++, No Injection | Botting Hub
OSRS bot client · 2026

The client that
never injects.

OSRS bot client · Old School RuneScape automation · Windows, Mac and Linux

RuneMate, DreamBot, TriBot, PowBot, Storm and Inubot all closed during 2026. Almost every client that remains works by injecting into the game — the architecture that drew both the detection and the legal pressure. Botting Hub doesn't. It reads the screen and moves the mouse, like a person. Pick any script and the client comes with it.

The overlay shows what the client detects on screen in real time — objects, NPCs, inventory. Nothing is read from game memory, because nothing is attached to the game.

02 The basics

What an OSRS bot client
actually is.

A bot client is software that plays Old School RuneScape for you — skilling, combat, minigames, gold farming. The part that matters is how it does it, because that is what Jagex looks for.

Most clients inject code into the game process, or replace the game client entirely. It works, and it is also the thing anti-cheat is built to find: an unexpected process attached to the game is a signal no amount of clever scripting hides.

Botting Hub takes the opposite approach. It runs alongside the official client, reads the screen with computer vision and moves the mouse. There is nothing attached to the game to detect, because nothing is attached.

03 What's different

Built the other
way round.

Five things that follow from not injecting.

Vision, not injection

The client reads pixels and moves the mouse. No memory reads, no hooks, no modified game client — nothing for anti-cheat to attach to.

Real AI, not fixed paths

Scripts respond to what is on screen rather than replaying a recorded route, so they cope when the game does something unexpected.

Human input

Mouse paths and click timing are generated from real player data, so movement does not sit on the straight lines that give bots away.

Proxies built in

Assign one IP per account from inside the client. Multiple accounts on a single IP is the most common avoidable cause of a chain ban.

26 scripts, one client

Combat, every gathering skill, money makers and minigames — all running on the same free client, managed from one dashboard.

Support from the people who built it

Full-time engineers, not a ticket queue. Real answers when a script does something you did not expect.

05 Where things stand

2026 thinned
the field.

Six clients closed or stopped selling this year. If you are here because one of them shut down, this is the short version.

Client
Status
What it means for you
RuneMateclosed
Permanent shutdown, 7 Aug 2026
Scripts stopped with it. Accounts are not tied to a client, so they can be moved.
DreamBotpaused
New sales and renewals paused; site lockdown from 10 Aug 2026
Existing licences are in limbo while legal counsel is involved.
Stormclosed
Permanent close, early July 2026
Gone with no replacement path offered.
TRiBot · PowBot · Inubotunavailable
Sales paused or largely closed to new buyers
Hard to start on, uncertain to stay on.
Botting Hubrunning
Open, and not injecting
Different architecture, which is why it was not part of the same wave.

Public, maintained options are thinner than they were — not gone.

06 Getting started

start to botting.

Buy the script you want
One payment, kept for life. The client comes with it — a licence is required to run the client, so this is where you start.
Download and sign in
Windows, Mac or Linux. Your licence unlocks the client and the script appears in it automatically.
Assign a proxy, if you are running more than one
One IP per account. Built into the client — nothing to configure elsewhere.
Press start
The docs cover the exact starting state each script expects.
How it works
From $10

The client itself is not sold separately — it comes with your script. Buy the script for the skill you care about, and the client is yours to run it on. One payment, kept for life, free updates.

Client closure dates as publicly announced · updated

What is the best OSRS bot client in 2026?
The field narrowed sharply this year: RuneMate, DreamBot, TriBot, PowBot, Storm and Inubot all closed. Of what remains, the meaningful difference is whether a client injects into the game. Most still do; Botting Hub does not.
Which OSRS bots still work?
A small number of clients remain in general use alongside Botting Hub. Most work by injecting into the game client, which is the architecture that drew both detection and legal pressure during 2026.
Is there a free OSRS bot?
Free clients exist but are typically the least maintained, and abandoned scripts are what get accounts banned. Botting Hub is not free: you buy a script once and the client comes with it, from $10.
Will I get banned for botting OSRS?
There is real risk in any automation and nobody can honestly promise otherwise. What you control is behaviour: vary session and break lengths, use a separate IP per account, and keep farming accounts away from anything you would mind losing.
Does Botting Hub work on Mac and Linux?
Yes. The client runs on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Do I need proxies to use an OSRS bot?
Not for a single account. For more than one, yes — multiple accounts sharing one IP is the most common avoidable ban cause. Proxy assignment is built into the client.
Can I move accounts from a client that shut down?
Yes. Accounts are not tied to a client. Move them gradually rather than switching everything on the same day — a farm that all changes behaviour at once is itself a pattern.

Your old client shut down.
This one didn't.

Pick a script, get the client with it, and you are running in about six minutes.
